GET INVOLVED – join a fleet of performing paddle boarders for :
River Echoes Live, Bathurst Basin, Sunday 17th October at 4-5pm.
Devised by Bristol based artist, Kathy Hinde, River Echoes Live is a large-scale site-specific music, sound and film performance inspired by the hidden river Frome, taking place around the Bathurst Basin. Audiences will become immersed in resonant soundscapes and glistening traces from Bristol’s under-explored underwater worlds.
We are looking for a fleet of paddle boarders to take part in the live performance at Bathurst Basin. You will work with artists to be guided to make sounds in the water with gongs as a key part of the overall immersive waterway performance.
Paddleboarders will need to:
- have their own water vessel, and be experienced on the water.
- be able to attend a rehearsal / run-through on Saturday 16th October 3-5pm
- be available to take part in the performance on Sunday 17th October 3-5pm
