Submerge will be shown as an installation at The Lighthouse, Glasgow from Thursday 29th October 2015 until Saturday 9th January 2016 as part of Sonica Festival.
Interact with an underwater sound map of Glasgow. Draw into a watery surface to reveal intriguing hidden submerged sounds from the streams of the city. Learn more about the waterbodies of Glasgow by revealing results from scientific analysis of water samples from around the city.
Submerge installation is created by Kathy Hinde in collaboration with software programmer Matthew Olden. A Cryptic commission for Sonica, produced in partnership with Glasgow Year of Green 2015, VELOCITY, OPAL and Glasgow City of Science and the Lighthouse.
